Going BIG: Zen, Ink & Encaustic Workshop 2026 | 4-Day Retreat in RI

This 4 day artist workshop of exploration and creativity will blend contemporary encaustic techniques with Expressive Inks, Japanese Brushes, R&F Encaustic Paints, Abundant Mixed Media, and Unusually BIG Paper Substrates. This will be a space to experiment with large scale, layers, transparencies, and textures, letting the materials guide the process. We’ll work intuitively, combining technique with personal expression, and allowing each piece to unfold naturally, for those who are looking to deepen their practice through an exploration of art making, heart centered expression, and mindfulness.
