Art Lab: Painting Science Workshop – Wake Forest Public Day 2026 | Winston-Salem NC

Art Lab: Painting Science is a unique, hands-on workshop that brings together art and regenerative medicine in an engaging and accessible way.

Hosted as part of Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine, #WFIRM Public Day, this interactive experience invites participants to explore scientific concepts through creative expression. Led by Kelly Milukas, Artist in Residence, the workshop transforms laboratory materials into art-making tools, allowing participants to visually interpret stem cell science through painting.

This free event is designed for students, educators, families, and community members who are curious about the connection between art and science. Participants will engage in creative exploration while learning about the innovative work happening in regenerative medicine.
